House #4: Two-tiered deck

Image
It's interesting times. New rules for showings include no kids inside and the recommendation to wear gloves. And we weren't the only ones out. The housing market is still hopping. We were early and saw two other couples view the house before us and another heading in right after we were done.  So... This one is actually priced above what we were looking at, but the trade-off for that is a tiny bit more space than what we'd been seeing. 4 bedrooms, 1 bath, ~1500 sq ft It needs some updates, but doesn't seem like anything major. We're going to make an offer, but with the number of people looking at it, and the fact that it's already higher than we were hopin...

House #3 - The Rental Disaster

Image
Going in we knew this one probably needed some work because they didn't post any interior pics. They also currently have renters, with the host of issues that can bring. It does have a great location, though. Problem list from seller's agent: -Floors need refinishing -All walls need paint or more -Furnace is very old -Central Air not working -Garage floor broken up due to water ingress from driveway -Laundry room gets water in the Spring, probably due to grading Not making an offer here!

First rejection

We kinda expected it. Oh well. Now we keep looking.

House # 2

Like the location alot. Cute house 1960s a bit dated. Would need alot of updates and money put into it. I think we have a shot at this house. Time will tell.

House #2 - The Yellow Fixer-Upper

This house has a great location, which I think is the main selling point. They've also already received 2 offers and we only have about 4 hours if we want to make an offer. Pros: Location Fenced Backyard Park behind house Attached garage Dishwasher Egress windows in basement Cons: Only one car garage Only 2 bedrooms on main floor Needs A LOT of updates So... verdict is.... We're putting in an offer, but won't be heartbroken if we don't get it.
